This community was created to support educators of Hawai’i and other Pacific Islands who have been to a PLTW Core Training and are currently implementing. The main goal is to provide a place for teachers of our region to share resources and receive updates and support that will specifically help our students.  The community is private and administered by Diana Papini Warren, the PLTW Director for School Engagement for Hawai’i and the Pacific.

TO JOIN:

You must have a gmail account and have access to Google+.  Two options to JOIN:

OPTION 1:  Log into gmail, then enter Google+.  Screen Shot 2015-07-10 at 11.12.25 AMAt your home page, you should be able to go to the Communities link from a dropdown menu on the left side that looks like this.  Search for “PLTW Pacific”, then Request to Join! An administrator will approve your request.

OPTION 2: Provide your gmail address along with a request to be added to this community via the Contact Us form on this website.  An administrator will send the official invitation directly to this gmail.

Note: Some HIDOE Schools may still need to give access to this, in which case, we recommend using a personal gmail and/or logging on from home.
